Genesis
Chapter Six

1 and it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them,

2 that the sons of God deemed the daughters of men to be very attractive, and so much so, that they became commonly neglectful when choosing a mate and how many, and were so shameful in their gross misconduct thus, ,

3 that The LORD said, "My spirit shall not always strive with man, and although man is mere flesh, yet, I shall reduce his days to total in at approximately one hundred and twenty years."

4 In those days, some men grew into giants, and also, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men and begat children to them, those children became mighty men whom in those days, were men of renown, ,

5 and when GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that continually, his every thought, purpose, intent, and imagination was nothing but evil, ,

6 The LORD became very sorry that He had made man on the earth, and it so much grieved Him in his heart, ,

7 that The LORD said, "I will destroy from the face of the earth, man whom I have created, , both man and beast and the creeping things and the birds, because of My great grief for having made them, after witnessing their gross evil continually.", ,

8 but Noah found grace in The Eyes Of The LORD.

9 These are the generations of Noah, a just man and perfect in his engenderments, and Noah walked with God, ,

10 and Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, ,

11 but the earth had become so very corrupt and violent before God, ,

12 that when God looked thereon, He concluded that all flesh had corrupted its daily conduct and life style, and so much so, ,

13 that God said to Noah, "Because the earth has become populated with corrupt and violent minds, , I have concluded that I will destroy all flesh on the earth;

14 therefore, make for yourself, an ark of gopher wood, with rooms therein, and with pitch, render it waterproof on its interior and on its exterior, ,

15 and concerning its design, build the ark to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubits in height;

16 also, make a one cubit square window in the upper part of the ark, and a door in the side thereof, to permit entrance into the lower, the second, and the third stories of the ark, ,

17 and behold, I, even I, shall cause a flood of water on all the earth, to destroy from under heaven, all flesh wherein is the breath of life, and everything on the earth shall die, but, ,

18 with you, I will establish My covenant, and you shall come into the ark, you and your sons, your wife and your sons’ wives with you, ,

19 and of every living thing of all flesh, two of every kind you shall bring into the ark, to keep them alive with you, they being male and female, ,

20 the birds after their kind, the cattle after their kind, and of every creeping thing of the earth, after its kind, two of every kind shall come to you, to be preserved thus, ,

21 and for yourself and your passengers, you shall gather and include sufficient food."

22 According to all that God commanded him, thus did Noah, ,
