Chapter Three
Because the serpent was more subtle than any field beast that The LORD God had made, the serpent approached the woman and said, "Is it not so, God has said that you shall not eat of the fruit of every tree of the garden?", ,
and to the serpent, the woman replied, "We may eat of the fruit of all of the trees in the garden, ,
except for the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil in the midst of the garden, because God has said we may not eat thereof, and neither may we touch it, lest we die.", ,
and then abruptly denying the supreme authority of its Maker, the serpent said to the woman, "You shall not surely die, ,
because God knows that in the day you eat thereof, your mental eyes shall be opened and you shall be as He and thus, capable of determining for yourselves, whether whatever is good or evil.", ,
and having been persuaded thus by the deceptive serpent, the woman approached the forbidden tree and noted that similar to all of the other trees, it contained pleasantly appearing fruit acceptable for food, and additionally, that it was a source of knowledge, and thus, she took of the forbidden fruit thereof, and did eat, and also, she gave some to her husband with her, whom also ate of the forbidden fruit, ,
and as they ate thereof, their mental eyes were opened, and thus, being made aware of their nakedness, , they sewed fig leaves together, to make themselves aprons, ,
and when they heard The Voice of The LORD God calling to them as He walked in the garden in the cool of the day, , amongst the dense foliage of the garden, Adam and his wife hid themselves from The Presence of The LORD God, their Maker, , ,
and when again The LORD God called unto Adam, saying, "Where are you"?, ,
Adam came out of his hiding place and replied, "I heard Your voice calling to me as you walked in the garden, but because I was naked, I was afraid and I hid myself.", ,
and The LORD God said, "Who told you of your nakedness? Did you eat of the tree that I commanded you to not eat thereof?", ,
and Adam replied, "The woman you made for me to be my companion, she it was who took of the forbidden fruit and gave some to me, and I ate thereof.", ,
and The LORD God said to the woman, "What is this that you have done?", , and the woman said, "It was because the serpent deceived me, that I took of the forbidden fruit, and because initially, there seemed to be nothing wrong with it, I gave some to Adam.", ,
and The LORD God said to the subtly present serpent, "Because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle and above every beast of the field, , and to the extent that for the entirety of all the days of your life, henceforth and perpetually, you and your offspring shall propel yourselves from place to place on the earth, by crawling on your belly, and shall dwell in holes of the earth, , (archeologists have found remains of the original serpents that walked on numerous little feet, and there is yet a breed of serpent that near its tail, has retained some of its original feet, but not functional)
and I will put hatred between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring, and constantly thus, that hatred shall bruise your head and resultantly, you shall be constantly at the heels of her offspring, and bruise them.", ,
and to the woman God said, "I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in sorrow you shall bear children, , and your desire shall be to your husband, , and he shall rule over you.", ,
and to Adam God said, "Because instead of obeying me, you have obeyed the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree that I commanded you to not eat of, , cursed is the ground for your sake; in sorrow you shall eat of it all the days of your life, ,
because of such as thorns and thistles that henceforth it shall produce amidst that which you have planted, and also henceforth, your food shall consist of the herb of the field;
in the sweat of your face, you shall eat bread, until you return to the ground from which you were taken, because, being composed of dust, unto dust you shall return.", ,
and Adam called his wife’s name "Eve", , because of she being the mother of all flesh born in The Image and Likeness of God.
Also, for Adam and his wife, The LORD God make coats of animal skins, to clothe Adam and Eve, ,
and then The LORD God said, "Behold, now the man is become as one of us, in that he has taken it upon himself, to determine that which is good and that which is evil, , and thus, to prevent him from taking of The Tree Of Eternal Life, and eating thereof, and living forever in his state of transgression . . . ", ,
for that reason, The LORD God drove-out Adam and his wife, , drove them out of Eden, out of The Garden Of His Presence, so that henceforth, Adam was required to provide for himself and his wife and children, by tilling the ground from which he was taken, ,
and at the east of Eden, The LORD God placed Cherubims, , and The Flaming Sword Of Truth, , that from all directions, , keeps The Way Of The Tree Of Eternal Life.
