NOTE: The word image* in reference to fotografy or photography, is an English language construement that does not refer to an actual image, because all images have three dimensions, whether produced via carving, engraving, needlework, culinary art or laser duplication*. A "likeness" may be an inclusive ingredient of whatever instance, while not re-defining the totality of all other ingredients as an image, because, whether film or digital, fotografy produces a flat-faced, verbatim, time and calendar instance mere visual record, not a three dimensional object* and thus, not  an* image, although it =IS= an optically produced "record" of the subject "likeness" of that portrayed therein and thus, only a pictorial record that in fact, is NEITHER an image NOR a "likeness", but instead, a pictorial record that reveals the visual "likeness" of whatever portrayed therein.     Granted, a fotografer does NOT in fact, MAKE a "likeness" of anything* with a camera, BUT, , the obvious result of that which it is used for, can't be EX-cluded from the obviously intended definition communicated in God's Second Commandment, because the resultant use thereof, is easily and often so prized and or valued as to be SERVED, as occurs via special place allotment and preservational care and maintenance, whether a framed foto on a specific wall or in a room designated thus, and because all such concern is focused on the falsely defined image/s that comprise whatever optical records thus, it has no less than a strong tendency to exact a large percentage of the owner's prior concern and attention that because when combined, equal actual time spent dedicated and committed to such, in fact, the result thereof, is a form of object worship that is referenced directly in God's Second Commandment, with the words, you shall NOT bow down to any such nor serve them,. As so often is the case, it's HOW an object is used that is the major concern, more than the specific object, as otherwise, various culinary items could be labelled as sin causing, if used to commit murder, when in fact, it's the intent or the purpose when using whatever tool, that is at fault, NOT the specific tool, else all culinary and butchering knives would be identified as weapons.
